Model Behavior

Haven’t we all seen the models in commercials, magazines, and even on tv, that are so skinny and so tiny that you have to wonder why they would even show them? Well, unfortunately, in today’s society, being as skinny as a model is considered to be somewhat symbolic of a person be socially acceptable. This particular example is just one of many things that lead young people to believe that they must go to extreme lengths just to be able to fit in, in society. This includes binging, starvations, over-exercising their bodies, and pushing their bodies to extreme limits. Sometimes you may notice someone not eating as much as others, of frequenting the bathroom, while others may seems to have never-ending buffet of food in front of them. Whatever the case is, this is not “model behavior” and could potentially be something much worse than just a simple eating problem. It could be an eating disorder.
