Eating disorder treatment is expensive. Even intensive outpatient treatment programs, with anywhere from 12-30 hours of treatment each week, normally for eight to 12 weeks, cost: about $14,000.

I know therapy is expensive, but don’t let money be a reason you don’t get help for your eating disorder.

Why participate in a clinical trial or research study? A couple of reasons – first, you might get treatment costs covered, or at a greatly reduced price.
