Men Share The Same Problems

While men and women are considered two very different things when it comes to eating disorders, there are a few symptoms that men and women share. That incredibly intense feeling of gaining weight or become too fat is apparent in both men and women. Also, depression of not reaching your weight loss goals is almost guaranteed. This often causes a person to be very distant and completely running from social situations. What is actually very shocking about the affects eating disorders had on men is that men often lose interest in sex and may even become fearful of having sex. There are even some reports now that state that men often question their sexual orientation when suffering the symptoms of an eating disorder. They may feel that they do not have the right body proportions to be a male. Yes, it can go that far and it can get that serious.
