Things you should not do if you want to lose weight

It is every girl’s dream to look and feel sexy. Who does not want to have a drop-dead gorgeous body? The sad thing is, some women are so obsessed in getting their ideal body that they tend to overdo their weight loss regimen. Hence, eating disorders, such as bulimia and anorexia, tend to occur with these women.

What’s even worse is that some women even resort to dangerous methods of losing weight just to achieve a body of a model. For example, ipecac syrup is ingested by some so as to induce vomiting. This is mostly utilized by bulimics. Not only does a person deprive her body of its needed nutrients; induced vomiting can also erode the linings of the esophagus, and before you know it, you already have a perforated esophagus.

Same goes with the use of laxatives and diuretics. The use of these two drugs can lead to malnutrition and dehydration, which are two life-threatening conditions.
The body has its own way of disposing the body’s waste products, so don’t pre-empt it. Find healthier alternatives to losing weight.
