Past anorexic behavior is like a bell that can't be unrung - dubbed here as the "GI Jane" philosophy.  I hate to break it to you, but you are not perfect. There are going to be days where you are going to Eff up. You’re going to say the wrong thing, you are going to get yelled at by your boss, you are going to run that red light, scream at your kids, tell your boyfriend where he can shove it.

I mean have you ever found yourself in a situation, and it’s like you are watching it from another room?

You are going, “why is that person acting like such a ding-dong?”

“Why is that girl acting like she has been swinging from power-wires, or consuming play-dough all day?”

Then you realize that girl is you, and you’re like STOP…but you just keep going.

If I had a nickel for every time this has happened to me, I could buy a small country, and quite a lot of pairs of Jimmy Choos.

Back in the prime of my role of “most horrid anorexic” on the planet, I was known to well … not be very pleasant. Just ask my friend I threw a jar of peanut butter at, barely skimming his head, or my ex-boyfriend who I cut a hole in the crotch of his favorite Levi’s because he said Beyonce had a hot ass.

It’s been years since those days, but I tell ya I put a lot of people through the ringer. Luckily I somehow managed to cash in my “broomstick” and trade it in for a “magic wand.”

Sure I could sit around on a big pile of regrets, but that really wouldn’t get me anywhere. I don’t live in the shoulda, woulda, coulda’s..I live in the now. You eventually just gotta suck it up and deal with the fact you have been a complete dumbass!

You … ya you heard me … whatever you did, chances are it cannot be undone. It’s what I call my “GI Jane” philosophy, or in other words you “Can’t Unring a Bell!”

What you can do is pull up your “combat boot” straps (which by the way are very in Fashion for Fall), and from this moment on, “BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE!”

Just don’t bring it too over the top and go shaving your head … seriously, that look can make even the most “Fabulous Camouflage” hard to pull off!??
