I suggest that you seek the help of a therapist who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. How old are you? How long has this been going on? Does your family know? I hope you have support in your life. This is a very serious behavior associated with an eating disorder, but the underlying issues are emotional. That is why it's important to get professional help to stop these behaviors. Please continue to share with those who are a support for you, and get help!! Take care.

I remember the last time I

I remember the last time I purged. I was kneeling in front of the toilet and felt someone staring at me. I looked to my left and my two cats were sitting there pressed together looking at me with big green eyes like I was nuts. I picked them both up and cuddled them in bed for the rest of the night. Purging is often related to avoiding emotions. Learning to sit with those feelings, knowing that they won't kill you as puring definitely will, and expressing them even if it's on paper in the third person as I had to do when I started is one way to stop the purging. huge hugs

Do you have any other tips i can use instead of purging?

ive read so much and i know im terribly stubborn and dismiss all alternatives as "cliche". Am stuck with a sick mind:(
