This is a relatively newly
This is a relatively newly recognized problem among people with eating disorders. I know there is some information out there, if you go to the NEDA website, or the IAEDP site, you may find some info there. My understanding is that a person drinks alcohol instead of eating, which results in of course, them being intoxicated, but also being nutritionally deficient in many ways. It seems to be a problem that is increasing on the college campuses. If you think you may have a problem please seek the advice of a professional!!
