I think that I may be in the beginning stages of an eating disorder and I want to know if I actually do have one, and if I do, how can I stop it from becoming worse.

greengirl...Your best defense is to seek help immediately with a mental health professional, and/or your physician, and be open and honest with them about your fears. One thing that can be very helpful is to go the EAT-26 website (www.eat-26.com), where you can take the most widely used self-test for eating disorders.
