Congratulations on the hard work you are doing! When you gain weight in recovery, it may settle first in your mid-section, due to your body trying to protect your organs. It will settle more evenly over the next few months, but you may be uncomfortable for a while. Don't give up! You deserve a life without this monster!

Wow you sound EXACTLY like
Wow you sound EXACTLY like me! I did the same thing - about 900 or less calories a day on most days for 7 months. I didn't work my way up slowly, unfortunately, but it sounds like you're on the right track. I wish I had gained the weight back wisely like you. I know how awful it feels right now, but trust me, it will pay off in the end. God Bless!
