i am recovering from 7 months of anorexia. i ate about 900 calories per day and am now slowly working my way up. i am worried about where i will see weight gain. will it all go to a certain area. if so will it go away?

Congratulations on the hard

Congratulations on the hard work you are doing! When you gain weight in recovery, it may settle first in your mid-section, due to your body trying to protect your organs. It will settle more evenly over the next few months, but you may be uncomfortable for a while. Don't give up! You deserve a life without this monster!
Take care.

Wow you sound EXACTLY like

Wow you sound EXACTLY like me! I did the same thing - about 900 or less calories a day on most days for 7 months. I didn't work my way up slowly, unfortunately, but it sounds like you're on the right track. I wish I had gained the weight back wisely like you. I know how awful it feels right now, but trust me, it will pay off in the end. God Bless!

thank you very much!
