Chicago Behavioral Health, LLC
Company Overview
We specialize in emotional and binge eating. Our approach is to focus first on the cause - the emotional triggers. We use a "dynamic equilibrium" model of emotional eating, which views the letting-go behavior of emotional eating as a counterbalance to the emotional restraint that precedes it. The relief of restoring balance reinforces the emotional eating. Therapy is aimed to relieving the emotional restraint and finding alternatives to restore balance.
