Company Overview
Mirasol is a residential treatment center in Tucson, Arizona, that offers an alternative approach to eating disorder recovery. We treat anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder by combining individual and group psychotherapy with proven alternative therapies including neurofeedback, bodywork, Oriental medicine, EMDR and adventure therapy. We strongly believe that working with the whole mind, body and spirit simultaneously can promote therapeutic transformation in individuals, and, ultimately, in families and communities. Our philosophy is that eating disorders are the result of chronic stress and trauma and thus provide therapies that are proven effective in stress-related conditions. Mirasol's multidisciplinary treatment team consists of practitioners from traditional psychiatry, psychotherapy, and medicine who work closely with practitioners of complementary medicine.
