As a group of caring and skilled professionals, we are dedicated to individualizing your care by selecting from state of the art treatment approaches to best meet your needs. The therapists at Water’s Edge CHC are skilled in a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities, including: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. We emphasize therapeutic approaches which focus initially on skills and tools to aide in symptom interruption followed by insight-oriented work to resolve the underlying issues. We believe that this kind of therapeutic work is best done in the context of a caring, confidential and collaborative relationship between the client and provider.
All providers at Water’s Edge CHC are committed to working as a team to provide the best treatment possible. We believe strongly that the most effective care is given not only in collaboration with you, but also with other providers with whom you are working (such as primary care doctors). After completing a comprehensive psychological assessment, your provider will discuss with you treatment recommendations, including who and how to collaborate with the rest of your treatment providers.
