I'm a 49 year old mother of two. My daughter was diagnosed with anorexia three years ago and continues to struggle with it. Progress is slow but sure. It is a horrible disorder that wreaks havoc with the whole family and it is not my daughter's fault. I feel she was the canary in the coal mine. We work to improve relations and communications at home and she receives ongoing nutritional and psychological counseling.
